Here's What Your Day MightSquintLike On A ChristianZany8:00 BREAKFAST & FLAG If you don’t know the pledge of allegiance, it will wilt second nature to you without a week! The kids all line up at the flag pole to raise the flag and then it’s time for breakfast which we eat with the campers without singing Grace. 8:30 BIBLE CLASS This was held twice a week with our motel of campers and lead by a fellow counsellor who had a strong knowledge of the Bible. The aim was to make these sessions interactive and we would interpret the stories through flit and theatre, making them wieldy for all campers and counsellors no matter how strong they were in their Christian faith. It was a unconfined way to share our Christian values in a fun way! 9:00 ELECTIVES These filled the rest of our day and campers could chose from lots of variegated traditional zany activities including soccer, drums, art, music, dance, sports and SO many more! As counsellors we would help run the activities and got to join in with our campers. 12:30 LUNCH & QUIET TIME Time for a unravel from the heat and some lunch-we would sing a short Grace surpassing our meal and end with table inspection. We then have 30 minutes of nippy out time in our cabins surpassing getting ready for the afternoon! 13:45 ELECTIVES, SWIMTIME & SNACK Our afternoons were packed with increasingly activities and a endangerment to jump in the lake and tomfool off! Campers got to go pedal voyage and Go Karting and we were with them to make sure they were having the weightier time at camp! 17:30 FLAG & DINNER VESPERS/DEVOTIONALS This was a really special time of the day where everyone comes together from kids, counsellors and support staff to listen to devotions and for a few songs. We could read devotions usually with a set theme such as ‘friendship’ and add increasingly personal touches if we wanted to share or think well-nigh something special, we offered the campers to lead this if they wished. Older campers would often discuss personal issues/difficulties and have their fellow campers pray for them. 18:30 NIGHT TIME ACTIVITIES This was an all-camp worriedness and unchangingly so much fun! We would have activities from real-life games of Cluedo and Battleship to Olympics, Paint Wars and Mud Runs – the crazier the largest and something never to be missed! 21:00 CALL TO CABINS Curfew for the wholeMoteland Lights Out!
